    Hi,

by default pages don't have categories in WordPress.
When you edit/create new posts you can switch to the text tab to write HTML.

    Excuse, me are not explained!
I created a category "category name" with a few items inside.
If I view the page of the site "category name" I see the list of articles.
I wish I could completely change that page, hiding the items and putting other content.

The list of articles are the items you put into the category.

If you want to change the category archive, you will have to create a page template and change what is output:

So it does not solve the problem either.
I try to make you understand what I have to do:

in practice I'm making a blog, and in the main menu have a voice "Category 1" which corresponds to a category (Category 1, in fact).

Under this heading is a drop down menu with all items in this category:
    "Article 1 Category 1"
    "Article 2 Category 1"
    "Article 3 Category 1"
    "Article 4 Category 1"

If I click on the "Category 1" WordPress shows me a page with the list of all articles

The thing that interests me is not to display this list but to be able to insert the content independently, and then formatted text, images, html, etc ...

    Please help me!! 🙂
