    I know this can't be a hard task to achieve but Im having difficulty here getting this simple look that I'm trying to build. In short what I'm trying to achieve is the following.

    1) I have bio pages on my clients website (10 in total) and I want to on the side bar pull in their own posts to the page. I figured out the loop to get the posts to the page but that is all that is showing up now.

    <?php
    remove_action('genesis_loop', 'genesis_do_loop');
    /*
    template name: Ray's Page
    */

    add_action('genesis_loop','gt_custom_loop');
    function gt_custom_loop() {
    global $paged;

    $args = array(
    'post_type' => 'post',
    'author' => '8'
    );
    // Accepts WP_Query args
    // (http://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query)
    genesis_custom_loop( $args );

    }
    ?>

    <?php genesis(); ?>

    I know this is a fairly simple task and I just can't remember how to do this. It's been years since I've used Genesis and I guess re-training my brain is not like riding a bike 🙁

    I have a link to look at but its behind a windows auth
    U name: lewuser
    the keys to the kingdom are: letmein2014!

    Ideally this screenshot is how I want this page to look

    I honestly think there's a plugin that does this in a widget, and I spent a while yesterday looking through the repository for it, but I couldn't find the exact one I'd seen before.

    Most of the ones in the repository just give lists of authors and how many posts they have, but I know I saw one that would let you select an author, and choose how many recent posts of theirs to display... I just can't seem to find it right now!

    Then you'd use something like Dynamic Widgets to control which widgets appear on which pages, and that should do it.

    Now, watch... Murphy's Laws state that I'll find that authors plugin 10 minutes from now...
