MemberSomething is causing the sidebar of the homepage only to drop to the bottom of the page on this site.
I have checked all other pages/posts and the sidebar is in place. I have combed through for open tags and have found none. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what would cause it to drop?

ModeratorIf you look at your source code, you have the sidebar positioned after the pagination. The pagination is full width. The side bar needs to be above the pagination for it to work properly.

MemberThanks, Victor. Any chance you can give me a bit more guidance on how to move it? I had it all working just fine yesterday and then someone else was working on the site last night when it happened.
I see in the source code the issue, but I don't see in particular in the functions that anything got moved to cause this...

ParticipantError Line 913, Column 31: Stray end tag div.
</div><!-- end #inner --></div><!-- end #wrap -->I think this is the problem but would need full access to confirm.
I would also look for any unclosed HTML tags like /div> or </div

MemberThe plugin Genesis Post Teasers was causing the sidebar to drop. I have seen in some other discussions that there is a stray end div tag in the plugin (I've looked through all the plugin files and don't see it in order to fix it). I use it successfully on a number of other sites, so I am not sure why it won't work on this one..
My ultimate goal is to have full posts on the home page and then excerpts on all the other pages-which this plugin allowed me to do. Do you happen to have another suggestion in how best to accomplish this (either a different plugin or tutorial)?

MemberThanks, Brad. I subscribed and felt like this tutorial was best suited for what I am looking to do. However, I implemented and no changes occurred...
I'll leave you a comment over on your membership site.
