    Does anyone know how I can create a drop-shadow effect on the Featured Story image? As a WP newbie, I don't even know where to look.

    I don't see a featured story on your home page which makes it difficult for me to target the code for you.

    I renamed the featured stories section to "Top Stories". The Featured images (on left) do NOT have Drop-Shadow on them.
