Using v3.5.1 of Magazine Pro, I went to change the layout of a page from the site default (content/sidebar) to full width content ... except there's no layout metabox. There's Theme SEO Settings, Page Fields & Scripts.

The only thing I can think that's different on the site is that it uses Toolset as I had to import custom content types from Drupal but Toolset doesn't have an option to customize metaboxes for built-in post types.

So without the meta box, is setting up a page template my only option?

It does and you'll find it on the Edit Page screen.

Turns out it's a Toolset issue - when the block editor is used, the meta box is not there. When the classic editor is used, the meta box is there. Thankfully Toolset has an option to let people toggle which editor to use on the post itself.
