I would like to display primary category (show one category from already selected 2/3 categories ) of a post on the home page.

In provided URL, 2 categories are showing for one post and I want to show only one category from selected categories.

    Help me!

    Sorry...

Suppose I have marked 1st post with three categories, 2nd post with 4 categories, 3rd post with 1 category but I want to show only one category in home page feature widget.

You can see the same at http://goo.gl/6eWZc3 - In the middle widget, 2 or 3 categories are showing and I want to show only one category on the home page only. BUT in the particular post all categories will show up.

    Is it make sense?

I don't think you can do that with the featured posts widget as you can only use the default settings.

You can try pre_get_posts or an extension of the genesis featured posts widget which you can search for in the WordPress plugin repository.
