ParticipantGreetings everyone,
Happy to be here and be a new member of this wonderful community. I have briefly browsed through the forum and see that it has tons of knowledge but alas couldn't find what I need. BTW, I haven't found a Search button anywhere on the forum either. So I am sorry for the ignorance, if it was already answered, and here is my question.
I am using MagazinePro multi-topic blog theme and setting up categories to display my posts in categories.
The demo shows the categories page looking like this one: https://demo.studiopress.com/magazine/category/politics/
Meanwhile, I want posts on the category page to be shown in a two-column grid (with cells of individual size) like here: https://www.fashiongonerogue.com/category/fashion-news/
I have tried to edit the category page in Gutenberg, choosing 'Block editor' but it doesn't open in Gutenberg, opening in Classic Editor (I guess this is because it's a category page).
Anyways, I am clueless as to how to proceed with that. Will be grateful for suggestions.

ParticipantI also use Magazine Pro and have found that the Content Views plugin can create all kinds of layouts like you describe. I designed most of my home page with it. ]
It also lets you integrate ads into your layouts.

ParticipantThank you for this but although I have even wrote some CSS code myself learning the basics, I am afraid it’s a little beyond my capabilities to get it right. My coding skills are around basic so I need some simple instructions and ready plugins. I am in Europe for the moment so I will give plugins a try tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, will be thankful for any other tips from those who did it with MagazinePro.

Keymaster@eugenehunt use Genesis Grid - https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-grid-loop/. This works great and has settings you can configure.

ParticipantAnita,
Thank you so much for this. I will try checking this also within today-tomorrow and will describe the results here. Will be able to close the thread after that.

ParticipantHi beggers,
Hope this finds you well. Just wanted to let you know that your site Moviedebuts.com has the same issues I have described in this thread, i.e. captions for photos showing in excerpts.
Here is the screenshot of what I mean: https://www.screencast.com/t/2VvdLfTu
Don't know how/if it's possible to write a personal message on this forums to members so I have decided to write here although it's off topic here. You can follow the above referenced thread if interested. If you find a solution before me, please let me know 😉
