I'm using the Portfolio custom post type and have an archive page for it, but I'd like to output the posts grouped by taxonomy (sculpture, drawing, etc.). with the Taxonomy name at the top of the grouping like this:

    Sculpture
    Post Title
    Post Title
    Post Title

    Drawing
    Post Title
    Post Title
    Post Title

    Etc.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Do you have an archive-portfolio.php that handles the display of that CPT?

If so, you'll need to do a custom loop and add some logic to grab the tax of posts in the loop, when tax change display the output. There's various ways of doing that ... if you don't have an archive template you'll probably need one, although there's some things you can do in functions.php - It'll help us to know how you're doing the display of that archive now to steer you.

    Cheers!

Yes, I have an archive-portfolio.php and it simply removes all content except the post title, then runs genesis(). Just having trouble with the custom loop and logic. I appreciate your time!

    Thanks again!
