Hi, I'm at the stage where I'm trying to wrap custom fields in HTML and PHP in a custom template, however, many of the tutorials on this online are out of date.

Please can someone advise me exactly how to display custom fields.

If you are using WordPress custom fields, this will help: https://codex.wordpress.org/Custom_Fields

If you are using a plugin like ACF, then you need to consult their documentation.
