My site is moving incredibly slow, in spite of it having basically no content on the site. I have talked to TMDHosting and they are claiming that it's the theme. I have gzip on the site, tested all my plugins, and refuse to buy a cdn plan where there is no content to deliver.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

It's not the theme. I just ran your site through pingdom and it shows that the site took 20.29 seconds to load. 19.6 seconds of that time was waiting for the server to respond. You are loading a lot of scripts on your site that required almost 50% of that time.

You mentioned gzip, but the test shows that gzip is not working for everything.
