Digital Pro custom post format

Hi guys,

So I bought the digital pro child theme and I'm trying to add an Image post format. I've been able to add the code to have it show up in the wordpress post window but I'm stuck on how to create a custom template so that it's displayed differently on the blog?

Ideally I would just want to show the image full width within the container with the category, date the same is how the default blog shows it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
