I use Genesis Framework and a custom child theme. I just clicked on the recent upgrade link to upgrade my Genesis Framework to the latest release (2.42) and my mobile menu stopped working. Did this update affect the menu system?

You can try it on http://www.cheapinternet.com.

When you click on the word "MENU" in the blue box under the header area (on mobile of course), nothing happens. It used to drop down the menu items. This happens on a mobile device or when drag the corner of desktop browser to make it smaller and get the mobile menu setup.

If it's not the new release, can anyone give me an idea of how to fix this quickly?

    Thanks,

    Mark

Also, is there any problem with rolling back, downgrading, Genesis to the previous version (I see I can download 2.3.1, and did)? How would I do this? Is it just file changes or where there any database changes? In other words, can I just overwrite the Genesis theme folder contents with the download of 2.3.1 files?

I got it to work. I had to disable a plugin called AutoOptimize. Strangely, it's been working fine with this plugin activated until I upgraded Genesis. So, I don't know.

Try unchecking one setting at a time till you find which setting is the issue. I think it might be the CSS setting in this plugin. I use the same plugin myself.

My menu is not working on small devices either. I have a nested menu and can't get to the lower ones except on the first choice (Books). I do not use AutoOptimize, so I know it isn't a conflict with that particular plugin.

Menu is seen properly on iMac and Mac and on iPad in landscape. But not working on iPhone or on iPad if in portrait mode.
