Design Pro Mobile View Problem — image and text not shrinking

Greetings:

I love and use Digital Pro. I have one problem, though. When the site is viewed on mobile where the phone is held vertically, the background image and text do not shrink down. The image scrunches up and the text does not shrink down. Instead, it breaks the word in an awkward place. The rest of the home page looks fine when you scroll down, it is just that one section. I have included the demo, plus two screen shots to show what I mean, below:

My top text is 2 characters longer than the demo text, and changing the length -- reducing it -- doesn't fix the problem. The 2nd text row has a few characters less than the demo. As you can seem, my background image scrunches, but it doesn't reduce down nicely like the demo.

The only changes I've made to the CSS is to replace the two sans-serif fonts and one serif font to my font, and to use my business palette for the colors on the site. I am familiar with CSS and HTML. I have some programming experience and I can hack PHP, but I am not really a coder.

I did play around with the CSS, but I could not find a satisfactory change that looked good on all devices. I do not edit in the original code. I use the CSS Edits/Editor for my custom changes. I'm not sure what to do re: PHP, if the changes need to go there.

I noticed today that Google PageSpeed renders it correctly. I wonder if the bad rendering on vertical is an iPhone / Safari bug?
