Is there any way to set a delay on the excerpt appearing in the responsive slider? My client wants the image to appear, then the excerpt to fade in a second or two later.

    Hi,

I'm not aware of a slider that has that feature. Doesn't mean it's not out there - just haven't come across it. If it were me, I'd try talking the client out of it for reason that people's attention spans are limited and by the time the content fades in, a visitor's eyes have probably moved on. 🙂

    Cheers,

    Carrie

Actually, many, if not most, sliders have some capability for delaying or animating the caption. I'm not talking about a big delay, just the ability to view the full image before the caption appears.

    Like these:

And you can do it with Nivo slider, but I couldn't find a demo. I'm sure I can find another slider to do the trick, but the site is already set up with the Genesis Responsive Slider, so I was hoping for a quick fix.
