    My client is using the Decor theme and wants to have both her sidebars equal width, with the content in the center. I set both sidebars to be 225px, but the left sidebar slides down under the content on my large monitor. On my small monitor, both sidebars slide down below the content. I've been trying to get it work for hours and am not able to find the problem with Firebug. My client is using the Decor theme on the latest version of WordPress. http://www.faithfulacres.net/ She is a hands-on client, so I'm not sure if something she's changed is causing these problems, or if it's something else.

    Decor's inner width is set at 1140px - by making the left sidebar wider you are going over the 1140px width therefore pushing the sidebar to the bottom. I suggest you change the #content-sidebar-wrap to 905px and the #content to 670px. This will bring the left sidebar up and still give you a padding space between the content and the sidebars.

    Thank you for your help, Elsa! It looks great!

    I have another problem though-- when I make those adjustments, the page looks horrible on a smaller resolution. This is how it looks. http://www.faithfulacres.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/lindas-site-102814.png It doesn't even get responsive.:) Any ideas?

    Janet, you'll need to adjust the Responsive CSS as well. Almost every time you adjust the content width you'll need to make adjustments to the responsive code.
