    I'm looking for solution how to style comments only from specific users.
    I already found, that I can easily style comments from post author. (With CSS selector .bypostauthor)

    But, I'd like to style or highlight also comments from other specific users.
    I'm using default WP comments.

    How can I do this?

    Any help appreciated.

    Hmmm..., you've got the right emoji for your question. I'm not sure there's an easy way to accomplish what you want. The question here is how do you identify and apply a CSS class to specific comments based on user.

    The comments structure in Genesis eventually calls the WordPress core wp_list_comments() function to output the actual comments. These list items are echoed directly to the page. There are no filters in this function that can be used to add a CSS class. I really don't think you can do this, but good luck finding out. I hope I'm wrong.

    I solved this question.

    I used this CSS code (you can customize it 🙂 )

    .comment-list .bypostauthor > article, .comment-list .comment-author-NAME-OF-AUTHOR > article, .comment-list .children > .bypostauthor > article, .comment-list .children > .comment-author-NAME-OF-AUTHOR > article { YOUR CODE GOES HERE }
