    hi,

I'm working on http://www.fullfillco.com and the 'lifestyle blog' section using Lifetyle pro theme.

In the genises theme settings I have configured the blog to display post exerpts but some of the blogs are showing more content than others making the blog feed page look strange. I would like to have all the blog post exerpts with the featured thumbnail image and a small bit of content showing to make it look neater.

Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong?

    Hi,
The site looks really nice! I'm not exactly sure why the excerpts on your blog page are so different. There are various possible reasons.

I have one thing you can check easily. When you're editing a Post, you may see a box below the content area for "Excerpt". This can be used for a custom excerpt. If this box is not used, the theme will take a sample of content from the regular content box for showing on the site. So if you're using this Excerpt box, and it has different amounts of content on each Post, then they will look different.

You may not even see the Excerpt box at the bottom. That's because you can hide it. If you want to see it, go to the top of the page, click "Screen Options" and check "Excerpts".

Beyond that, it's hard to say without an investigation.

    I hope that helps,
    Dave

Hi thanks for the reply and for the kind words!

I didn't have experts set for them but it turned out to be a fix for the moment (to reduce the amount of content on display in the blog page). However I can't seem to get it to be set as default that the content should show just a snippet.

Not sure if it's a bug in the theme settings or if there is something else.
