I'm using the genesis custom headers plugin to add header banners (by hierarchy) to different pages in my theme. I really recommend it!

I can't though, figure out how to get it to display on my blog archive page. I have it set on the "page" that the blog is assigned to, but that doesn't display.

I tried using "display posts shortcode" to display blog archive on a regular page but I think that had a conflict with either "post grid" or "video grid w lightbox".

Please tell me if there is something I am missing here. I wouldn't expect this to be such an issue!

    Thanks!

I would ask the plugin developer as its adding 3rd party code not native to Genesis.

    hi Brad,

I don't understand what you mean.

I'm using Genesis custom headers on pages and posts. The "display posts shortcode" didn't work. Well, it might have worked but the styling was pretty messed up.

The issue is that it's an archive page. I can put banners on each post easily.

    Any other suggestions?

    1. You can use a plugin like WP Display Header

    or

    2. Create a custom Genesis blog page template which removes the default header image and adds a custom image. http://dreamwhisperdesigns.com/genesis-tutorials/add-content-genesis-blog-page-template/
