I created a custom 404 page for manapprovedreviews.com that uses the StudioPress News Pro theme. I copied the 404.php file from the Genesis directory and put it in the News Pro child directory and it won't show anything below the search box. I want to customize the 404 page and put other things in it but I can't even get the original to work first.

    Does anyone know why?

I use all StudioPress themes on all of my other sites and the custom 404 page works perfectly. I even copied a custom 404 page I have on another site to this site and it still won't work.

I was able to fix it slightly but it's odd that I had to put the text and buttons inside of the echo '<p>' . sprintf( __( ' and not below it. In the original 404 page this is also listed but when I make a copy of the 404 page and put it in the child theme it doesn't show up on the page.
