Im using a plugin a purchased for testimonials. I created a bit of custom css for it to change the bg and font color, the first one worked perfect, the second one would not stick so the support from the plugin creator went in and from it looks to me did what I had been doing and it work.... Now on to the third and the type is black again.. in fire bug it says #ooo but in my code it says #fff... going crazy over this since I want these all through out my site. Their support is nice but English is a little broken so I wanted to see if anyone here had any suggestions.
Im not a complete newb but Im also not a Super Coder { yet } so any help would be great!

it appears to me, and im not professional, that the span is overriding your CSS
Your fist one does not have it<span style="color: #000000;">Before we began to work together I was like…Screw this! Imma throw my laptop across the room! Why can’t I figure this #$^&*in thing out!?! When I worked with other designers I didn’t feel like I was dealing with a real person. Kayla was responsive, fun, kind, easy to talk to. Did I say RESPONSIVE! The results were exactly what I wanted . I felt like I could finally relax while she took the issues and handled them. She was like like “relax, I got this…” and I trusted she did. And she did! </span>
life’s tough, it’s a lot tougher if you’re stupid

So know that is what it looks like when viewed in Firebug but this is what I have going on, on the inside:THIS IS THE ONE THAT WORKS:
</span><span class="the_shortcode" style="color: #fffff !important;">[indeed-my-testimonials group='about-1' order_by='date' order='ASC' limit='1' show='quote,' page_inside='0' inside_template='default' theme='theme_2' color_scheme='94c523' slider_set='0' columns='1' items_per_slide='2' slide_opt='bullets,nav_button,autoplay,stop_hover,responsive' slide_speed='500' slide_pagination_speed='500' slide_css_transition='none' ]</span></span>ONE THAT DOESN'T :
</span><span class="the_shortcode" style="color: #fffff !important;">[indeed-my-testimonials group='about-1' order_by='date' order='ASC' limit='1' show='quote,' page_inside='0' inside_template='default' theme='theme_2' color_scheme='94c523' slider_set='0' columns='1' items_per_slide='2' slide_opt='bullets,nav_button,autoplay,stop_hover,responsive' slide_speed='500' slide_pagination_speed='500' slide_css_transition='none' ]</span></span>I should mention that I switch out the 'about-2' with 'about-1' and it worked.... this should be so easy haha.. but its killing my brain haha!
