    Hi

    I changed the width of the site title/description box from 300 to 1200 px. However, when i view it on my iphone 5s in landscape view the site title/description box stretches out far beyond the head/slider image. Does anyone know how I might remedy this other than reverting back to the default width size?

    You will need to add smaller withs for .site-description in the media query sections.
    You site is not available, so I don't know what media sizes you have, so here's an example.

    @media only screen and (min-width: 800px) {
       .site-description {
           width: 600px;
       }
    }

    Change the width to be smaller than the media query width. You may have to add widths in all the media query sections.
