Css fix for only home-top featured posts widget

I would like to add the following css change to my custom css but i dont want this to apply sitewide but only to the featured post widget placed in the home-top widget area on my front page. is there a way to make this work? the sitewide max width for this is max-width: 100% but i want to change to 'none' for this widget area.

Add the class for home top which should be something like this :

.home-top img,
.home-top .wp-caption {
    max-width: none;
}
