    I have a standard Wp Theme and wnat to switch over to Genesis. Is it possible to convert the theme I am using so that it is compatible with Genesis? In other words, convert it to a child theme?

    Is this something a developer could do?

    Many of my images and text are sized and positioned for the current theme and I would rahter not have to go through every page and redesign the images and text. i want to preserve as much as possible but move to Genesis.

    There is no automated procedure for this. Theme has to be coded manually. You can reach me at [email protected] to create custom Genesis child theme based on your existing WordPress theme.
