    Hello,

    I have a strange bug with my comments section. I think the issue is actually with the button, which redirects to my homepage rather than submitting a comment for moderation. So readers are no longer able to submit comments on my blog.

    This is a new problem as I have had 4 years worth of comments on my blogs. It's just in the past 2-3 months that it's an issue (Not sure exactly when, as I was only recently notified by a reader). I have checked EVERYTHING I can possibly think of, and I don't think it's an issue with a setting.

    I have Genesis Foodie Pro with Easy Recipes.

    I can see the issue on the site.

    Have you got any redirects in Yoast SEO (or Redirects plugin), that may be intercepting the comment posting?

    I checked all the redirections that I've done... it's definitely not in there. It happened suddenly, without any new apps or anything being added. Very strange. I do use Yoast, but I doubt it's in there.

    Any other ideas? Is there a way to fix this that doesn't involve recreating my site?

    The usual debugging process would apply - deactivate all your plugins, and maybe even change your theme to Twenty Seventeen and see if the problem persists. If it does, then you know it's something else (like a redirect in .htaccess). If it doesn't, then activate the theme and try again. If it's still working correctly, activate each plugin one at a time until it breaks again.
