    Hello,

I have a blog currently on Squarespace (big mistake) that I am rebuilding on localhost with Altitude Pro and the handy Genesis extender plugin. My biggest issue is with columns as I have around 90 odd posts, many with columns that contain images, paragraphs and links.

I've used HTML in text editor to make simple columns with text only, no biggie at all but trying to do so with more complex content as above will take forever.

I probably need a plugin although I'm concerned about bloat and or conflicts with theme's existing column classes. I don't like using plugins as a rule and only have 6 in total.

I'd appreciate any general thoughts, solutions and or recommendations. Thank you in advance.

    Hi Charles

Firstly, asking for help with CSS & HTML related issues when you're working locally makes it hard to help.

You'll find out if the HTML will work in Genesis when you migrate the content over and test. I would test 1 page first and see who it goes.

If needed, you could use content columns which is included in Genesis

You could swap out the HTML for your old columns using a SQL Query if needed.

    Thanks for your reply, Brad.

I guess I'll test a page or two and see what happens, thanks.
