Hi all, I'm building a website with Parallax Pro and trying to add some of these snippets to change the comments links, title text, add a comment policy box and so on: http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/comments/
I've tried one at a time or a few at once and no matter what I do nothing is changing my comment section and its attributes.
Is there anything specific to the Parallax theme I should or shouldn't be doing?
BTW I am not adding the opening php tag but am using the descriptive line (e.g. "//* Add a comment policy box in comments"). I've tried adding the snippets both at the bottom of my functions.php file and in the middle, near other "//*" lines.
Can't post a link to the site, sorry, as I'm working on localhost.
Any help much appreciated. Thank you!
I managed to modify the Speak Your Mind title text but still no change to the comments link. This is baffling, the code is being completely ignored! Is this a matter of where exactly in the functions.php file you place the snippet?
Any ideas from anyone would be massively welcome!
Please take note to remove
//* Do NOT include the opening php tag
from your snippet.
Thanks, Winterburn. I haven't been using the opening php tag and was able to successfully use one of the snippets - the one that changes the Speak Your Mind title text.
Sadly, I still can't change the comment link (Leave a Comment, 1 Comment etc.). I was wondering if there's anything "special" about Parallax Pro that means I need to modify that code somehow.
