Hi. When working with Altitude Pro page 3 widgets, if I click between tabs part of the code for the dashicons disappears and is replaced with " " then the icons disappear on the actual webpage. what am I doing wrong?

When I first used the widget editor it would default open under 'text' tab (with no 'paragraphs' option btw..) so I could at least wuick copy the code so I wouldn't lose icons. Now it default opens to 'visual' tab and when I click on 'text' the code is already changed and I can't copy it to replace it before saving...

    please help, thanks!

You're not doing anything wrong. That's the way WordPress works now. Add your HTML in the text tab and forget about the visual tab.

ok thanks. I guess I'm supposed to use the HTML text widget instead? Seems like after 9 months of forum posts about this that people would update their theme websites to say "don't use the text widget!!"
