    whoa!! I made a child theme and it works wonderfully on localhost, then when I uploaded to my website's server, it looks aweful.

    Notice that all the posts are flushing way out to the right. This doesn't happen on my localhost server.

    What happened?

    Also, how do I get the "next page" and "previous page" buttons on the bottom of the page?

    Dave: Don't reply to your own post; by doing so, you'll virtually guarantee that you won't get a response, because people who are looking to help out on the forum are looking at posts which have no replies.

    Having said that, I can't access your site from where I'm at at the moment, so I can't immediately help you - I'll see if I can get someone to take a look at this thread.

    There are a lot of things involved in transferring a site from a local install to a commercial server. Did you bring over the database? Did you make sure you changed any embedded (in database) URLs from "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" to the actually web domain URL?

    There are a lot of reasons why your site looks like it does. Tell us how you did the transfer and maybe we can help undo whatever it is you did.... or tell you to do whatever it is you didn't.

    dev,

    What I did was I zipped the theme and uploaded it to WordPress via the wp-admin panel.

    Add the following to the end of the style.css file and see if that works:

    #content {
    float: none;
    }
