    Hello,
i want to create a one pager theme. The content of the one pager should be generated through widgets. The user should have the option to select how many widgets are needed for his one pager.

In order to do this i want to add an option which is editable when I click on Appearance -> Customize. How can I add an option for my child theme here?

Under Site Layout / Content Archives should be an additional option "Number of Widget-Areas", which should be saved as an WordPress option.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Get this theme and you can easily add widget areas where ever you like.
