    I noticed in style.css of Genesis 2.0, it has some lines like this

    .genesis-nav-menu > .menu-item > a {
    	text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    So, what's the meaning of ">" character there?
    Thanks.

    Answer here. Explains and illustrates it better than I can.

    In the example you provided, restricts the css result to only .menu-item classes that are directly sit inside .genesis-nav-menu and not others that may be nested further down in the code.

    It is a 'child' selector.
