I am trying to edit the text in the search box for "Search Web Site..." to simply "Search". I have searched this topic a number of times on Google and didn't get any what I though useable results primarily because I use Studiopress themes. Is there a file in the Genesis/Enterprise Pro themes to make this change or is it deeper in WordPress files? Here's the URL: http://www.jnwhitedesignserver.com
    Thanks,

Brad, thank you for your post. I went to your site and couldn't find a solution to edit text in the search box. I saw some things about placeholder text but nothing on my situation. Did I search you site using the wrong query? Your thoughts?

Yes, that is the placeholder text. Change that and you change the default wording.

    Hello Keith

Not sure if you've already resolved this issue.

I haven't published the code for changing the search form text because its already published on the StudioPress code snippets page.

Add the 1st snippet to your functions file and change the text in the code.

Thanks, braddalton. I used the link to find the code to take care of my issue and it worked like a charm. Thanks to all the rest of you for your responses.
