    Hello,

    I am working on a client site using the Magazine Pro Theme. The header I designed looks quite small with a lot of white space around it. and I would like to make it significantly larger.

    I found a great tutorial by Brad Dalton that explains how to do this on the former Magazine Theme, but I haven't seen any updates on the new one. I was able to go into the functions.php file and change the header settings there to 1100 X 150; but where do I do this in the css style sheet since the #header code is not in the Magazine Pro Theme ?

    Also, do I have to remove the Header Right Widget to use up the full header ? If so how do I do this ?

    Thanks

    Width of header image will max out at the width of the template. However, you can change height value to display larger image height-wise. Look for following code, change min-height value as per requirement.

    .header-image .site-title a {
    background-position: center !important;
    background-size: contain !important;
    float: left;
    display: block;
    min-height: 90px;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    width: 100%;
    }

    Also, if you do not put any widget in header right widget section, then it won't display. No need to delete code for the same in theme files.

    Chrissy, did you find a workaround here? I am dealing with the same issue and having a full-width header image is a non-negotiable design element.

    Thanks!

    If anyone has found a work around to this, that would be great! I don't like having the logo only be 380px wide.

    Thank you!

    Hey everyone,

    Sorry for my late response on this. Here is a tutorial from Brad Dalton that was helpful in changing the size of the header. I ended up going with a different theme because I wasn't able to figure out how to get the header to span the full width of the site.

    Add Full Width Header Image To The Magazine Pro Theme

    Hope this is helpful!
