I'd like to change the featured posts in the eleven40 Pro theme to be one column, instead of two, how the features appear on the Magazine Pro demo , under the heading "Lifestyle" on the home page. I'm sure it's a quick solution, I just haven't found it. THANK YOU!

This make the front page display the blog template and removes the control of the Genesis grid loop. (You will lose the prominence of the two most recent posts.)
Settings > Reading Settings > Front page displays:
- select Front page = blog page
Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives:
- select "Display Post Content" and choose a suitable character count
- check (select) Include the Featured Image
- choose thumbnail image size (150 x 150)
Under "Blog Page Template" > Number of Posts to Show, choose a suitable count of posts to show on the front page.
I think that's everything.

If you do that, you don't need Genesis Post Teasers so there's nothing gained. You can also get a similar effect by tinkering with the Grid Loop settings in home .php, but it still doesn't match Magazine (home bottom 'Lifestyle' section.)
I was intrigued by the idea of closely replicating the post pattern and styles from the home page of Magazine in Eleven40. I'm 95% there - but it seems that something works differently than the way I think it should work. 🙂 I can't get the excerpt text for home-bottom to float the way it does in Magazine.
And... I've just found that there's yet another version of Eleven40 Pro released - 2.2 - now with theme-defaults.php.
For now:
@abarkley : If you just want rows of posts, remove or rename home.php.
