    Hello there,

    I am using Eleven40 Pro. Could anyone please let me know how to change the background colors of primary and secondary sidebars. Also how can change the width of the sidebars.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Regards

    Hi,

    You may edit this in your child theme stylesheet.
    for eg

    .sidebar-primary, .sidebar-secondary{
    background:#e1e1e1;
    }

    similary to change the width, you would need to decrease the width of main container to increase the size of sidebar.

    For eg to change the width of secondary sidebar.

    .sidebar-secondary{
    width:200px;
    }

    Decrease the width of main container

    .sidebar-content-sidebar .content-sidebar-wrap{
    width:900px;
    }
    .sidebar-content-sidebar .content{
    width:600px;
    }

    WisdmLabs,

    Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately, I could not find the code you suggested for changing the background colors of both the primary and secondary sidebars. I am mnot sure why it is happening like this. But hopefully you or someone sle can guide me on this.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    You need to find this code in your child theme style.css
