Change menu background color of Daily Dish theme

How can I change the background color of the menu in Daily Dish theme? Screenshot here: http://prntscr.com/54cu03

If possible, I would like to change similar to Metro theme as can see here http://demo.studiopress.com/metro/ The hover effect on the menu is really great. http://prntscr.com/54cvkg

For Daily Dish, look for following code in style.css file

/* Primary Navigation
--------------------------------------------- */

.nav-primary {
	border-bottom: double #ddd;
	border-top: double #ddd;
}

Change this to...

/* Primary Navigation
--------------------------------------------- */

.nav-primary {
        background: #eee;
	border-bottom: double #ddd;
	border-top: double #ddd;
}
