    I would like to float a number of logos in a transparent grid so that they appear neatly on the page ... is the best way to do this via the add media gallery function? If so, how do I change the default background colour for the media gallery to white so that its underlying structure is invisible?

    Many thanks,

    Susie

    You could do this as you've outlined. If the default background color for pages is not white, try this CSS in your child theme stylesheet:

    .gallery {
      background: #fff;
    }

    If that doesn't work for you, please post a link to your site.

    Thank you, Tom -- I ended up achieving it by using content column classes and they seem to work okay. Thank you for your advice, and apologies for my delayed response -- I've been away. I'll try the media gallery option and see if that's better!
