    Hi,

    I am trying to center the text on my navigation menu, for some reason it's very close to the bottom border. I would like it be centered in the middle, like it's floating. Is there any way to go about that?

    Also, is there anyway to change the font size, without it extending to the second row? Once I change the font, one size larger, the text automatically goes to the second line.

    Thank you in advance!

    There's a few things you can do. First, change the width of the .site-header .widget-area area to 840px. Next, change the .genesis-nav-menu font-size to your liking. I tested up to 14px. Last, add position: relative; and top: -20px; to .genesis-nav-menu.

    Hi Victor,

    So I was able to change the font size along with the width on one row, but when I changed the position to relative, all my categories became scattered. Also, I wasn't able to locate "top".

    Anyway, thank you for you help so far

    Hi there,

    I posted in your other thread about how to move the navigation up a little bit so it's centered vertically (remove the widget title from the custom menu widget).

    As far as increasing the font size and keeping the links on one line, the only other option you have is to reduce the size of your logo image (crop the image very close to the text and leave no extra spaces on the sides). Then you can reduce the width of this section of the style.css file:

    .header-image .site-title > a {
    background-size: contain !important;
    display: block;
    height: 50px;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    max-width: 360px;
    }

    Doing this may allow you to increase the width of .site-header .widget-area so you can increase the font size a little bit.

    Note, if you change the width of the site title, you'll also need to change the width in this section of the functions.php file:

    //* Add support for custom header
    add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
    'width' => 360,
    'height' => 70,
    'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
    'header-text' => false,
    ) );

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you for your reply!

    I have a question regarding my submenu under the navigation menus-- the posts are all clumped together when you hoover over a category!

    If you hoover over "gear list", the subcategories are on top of each other, so you cannot read it. I'm not sure what I've done. Can you help me here?
