Hello, since the last update to WordPress (or Genesis perhaps?) the Image align "Center" setting from my media upload interface has not been working. The images show up in the Visual Editor like they are centered but when the post is published, the images are not centered. See the vertical images in this post: http://www.everintransit.com/things-to-do-in-yosemite-mariposa-grove/ I'm using the "Prose" Child theme.

I embed my photos from Smugmug, and then click the images in the WordPress visual editor to change the alignment. This always worked before the last WordPress update.

Does anyone have any thoughts about what I can do to fix this?

Alternatively, if it would be possible to change the CSS to align all images in posts to center by default, that would be great.

    Thanks!

I noticed the same thing today working on a client site. Not sure what's going on. Let me send out a tweet.

The issue seems to be coming from the plugin that's adding Pinterest hover overlay on images. If you deactivate that plugin you should notice that the images will be centered as you would expect.

To be specific, it's "display: inline-block;" for ".pibfi_pinterest" that's doing this.

Hi Anita, I just got a solution from a guy in another forum. It was a problem with the "Pinterest Pin It Button for Images". If your client is using the same plugin, I posted the code that fixed it here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/after-update-images-not-centered-all-left-align?replies=13#post-5633690

    Best of luck!

You know Sridhar, I wasn't using the same plugin this person is using - but I was using a new plugin, which I see now caused the problem. Thank you for pointing me in that direction.
