Category Thumbnail Grid Layout for Posts?

All in all, the current site TeamFITBODY.com is working FANTASTICALLY and I'm loving the template, layout and features!!!
I am planning on moving all of JulieLohre.com to the new wordpress site...

One thing I would like to do when I do this is to make a "Grid Layout" similar to what I did here in Joomla.

(Having each profile in a Post with a specific category)

Do you know a good way to set up a Category Listing using the Featured Image in a thumb-nail page layout? Is there a plugin/widget?

You might be able to use elements from this Genesis Pinterest style child theme (or the whole thing).
