Hi everyone. I'm trying to create a single post template for the Genesis Breakthrough Pro theme, that will be used automatically whenever a post is in a specific category. I thought I could do that with a category template, but am struggling to get it working.

I'd like posts allocated to a specific category to automatically use a different single post template. A post in this category would show with no logo, no navigation bar and no sidebar or footer. All content will be within the post, and nothing more. So it's a bit like a landing page, but for a post in a specific category.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks you 🙂

Hi Richard, another solution is to use a page template on single posts using code like this.

Note : This solution requires you to select the template on the Edit post screen for every single post rather than loading your custom single post template on all posts in a specific category.
