    Hi

I originally had the search bar in the sidebar but on mobile it shows way on the bottom of the page, which is a bad user experience.

So I tried to put it in header right, but it didn't show up on mobile at all.

Then I tried for three days to put it in the nav bar. On the desktop version it shows there, but on mobile it hooks into the hamburger menu under the categories. Apparently I need a new class for mobile, but it is over my head and I can't find the information online -- some of the articles I come across are outdated but without dates on posts, I don't figure that out until after the fact.

The site is wander-argentina.com (I just looked and the whole site is showing in HTML -- which seems to be related to trying to remove the classic editor plugin or autooptimize, but when I deactivate it I'm not sure why it keeps showing in html). It's such a mess. My livelihood depends on this but unfortunately I spend way to much time fiddling with code instead of uploading content. HELP please!

The last support ticket i received a response to told me to ask my host — about an issue not related to hosting so I am quite frustrated. Thanks

    Hi Anita

it's https://wander-argentina.com but now you can't see it because the site is randomly in html. I think this happens from trying to switch to guttenberg and then realizing it doesn't work and switching back.

Turn Cloudflare off while you are in the design stage. The site has optimization turned on which is preventing the stylesheet from rendering. Turn those things off.

Ohhhh! I am new to cloudflare and didn't realize that was a problem. Thanks so much. I do believe the html was from trying out guttenberg though.

But what about the search bar hooking into the hamburger menu on mobile?

If you had the Gutenberg plugin enabled maybe, but when the site doesn't display the theme, it's more probably the result of Cloudflare and/or an optimization plugin being enabled and neither have been configured properly.
