I posted a few days ago about my inability to get a new text widget to save. I'm now seeing this every with ANY type of widget. I've experimented with adding text widgets, social share buttons, recent posts but nothing will stick.

    Any suggestions?

Anytime you have a problem with widgets savings, the most likely cause is a plugin conflict. Any new plugins or updated plugins recently? You can turn on WP Debug to see if any PHP issues are reported. You can also check the console in the browser inspection tool to find jQuery conflicts. If noting shows up in either review, you'll have to start troubleshooting plugin conflicts.

Thanks Victor for responding to both of my questions on this issue.

It was indeed a plug-in issue. I narrowed it down to the Amazon affiliate plug-in (which I've deleted as it never worked properly anyway) and/or Jetpack. Which I disabled, then did my widgets, then re-enabled. That fix seems to be working for now.

I'll keep an eye on it after the next Jetpack update. And am wondering if I really even need it since I only use it for server downtime tracking and a few of the comment features.
