    Hi,
I can't separate the CSS for the nav menu and the drop down menu.

I have one drop down menu under the category "Trop Rock" and these two menu items are way too far apart. To change the current padding, I can change the padding under:
    .genesis-nav-menu a

Unfortunately, it changes the padding for the top level menu as well.

How can I style the drop down menu items to be closer together?

Create a new class for .genesis-nav-menu ,sub-menu a {} and adjust the padding there.

    Beautiful! That did it.

I had that class already in there... but I was missing a period in the class title. Thank you for sending me to the right place!

3 hours of my life lost due to a punctuation mark... sigh... 🙂
