    Hi, hope you can help...

My designer created a header but my developer (not Genesis-specific) states it can't be coded that way I'd like. Pointing out that 1. top menu must be on it's own line, and cannot have image underlay (not a biggie), 2. I can't have search bar at very top of site in skinny bar.

Wish I could attached the design so you can see.

    Thanks!
    Amee

    Hi Amee,

It's hard to say for sure...I don't know your developer of course, and haven't seen the design.

There's an option to have the search included to the right of the menu, or if that doesn't work there are several ways to code the search in different locations, move/add/change menus, etc.

Genesis really offers a lot of flexibility with these types of things...I thing that's why a lot of developers (myself included) quickly become exclusively Genesis Developers.

    Thanks Tony.

Exactly, I'm new Genesis and under impression it's flexible; I don't code, so I don't really know.

Ah, I'll figure it out, thanks.

As you get things going, you can always post a link to the site and what you're tying to do and see if someone can help.

    Good luck!
