I recently have encountered a problem with posting my blog links to Facebook, and other social media. I currently use the child themes Magazine Pro, and News Pro. I had no problem in the past posting links to Facebook, but all of a sudden I get 404 link not found whenever I try to post a link. Also, all of the pictures in my previous posts have disappeared from Facebook.

This is occurring on all of my genesis themes and different websites, so I have to believe that the problem is with the Genesis theme, or maybe the child themes. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

It'd be helpful if you posted some URLs that you're experiencing problems with so that others can test.

Sorry. I should have thought of that.

This is my latest article http://aquariumtidings.com/assassin-snails-clea-helena-care-breeding/

I have had no problem posting links from this website before, but suddenly all of the links cannot be posted. This is the same for all of my Genesis websites. It struck all on the same day, while all of my non-genesis websites seem to still be working fine.

I just tried your link on FB and got a 404 in the FB preview.
I visited your link directly and everything displayed correctly.
I tried pasting another link from your site http://aquariumtidings.com/how-much-and-what-to-feed-aquarium-fish/ and the FB preview displayed correctly.
I tried a link from my own Genesis-powered site using the Sixteen Nine Pro theme and the preview came up correctly.

I suspect one of the following:

    1. A plugin was recently activated that's interfering with the FB preview
    2. There's something within the content of that specific page (maybe a shortcode that calls a new plugin or some code in the custom header/footer) that's causing FB to 404.

Thanks for the response. I've actually tried disabling all of the plugins, and removed all custom header and footers. I then created a now post, and it was the same problem. And I tried out some of the older posts. While some of them have the text retrieved, they don't have the pictures any longer.

The strange this is that this happened to all of my genesis websites at the exact same time. And each site for the most part uses different plugins, and have different headers.
