I'd like to have a page on my site that displays "recent posts" automatically without me having to manually make the change each time I make a new post. I'm wondering if this can be done somehow since there is no widget area on the page other than the sidebar and footer. I want the post to show in the main content area. Is it possible to do that somehow? I know that the blog can show on a page other than the front page, but if I do that, I have to make the front page "static" which I don't want to do. Is there a solution to this? Thank you, Steve

You can use the blog page template on any single page to display recent posts.

Or to control which posts are shown.

No need to use a widget.
