I'm a WordPress newbie, building a site with Streamline Pro. This might be very obvious, but I haven't found anything here yet....

I want to have a call to action button that triggers capture of name, company, email (ideally using a mailchimp form if possible) which then allows download of a PDF/PPT/File. What's the best/easiest way of doing that with Genesis or sensible plugins please? Thanks!

Check out Easy Digital Downloads - it has a Mailchimp add-on that should allow you to require an opt-in before download. https://easydigitaldownloads.com/

That's great Andrea and with a comprehensive ecosystem, but it looks like EDD functionality only works if you are selling the downloads. Might be great for the future, but I've had a good look round the documentation and can't see any options without a shopping cart and pay mechanism. I'm after capturing an email prior to allowing download. Can EDD do that?

If not, what other options are there please?
