    I need to design a website with a responsive full screen slider on the home page. It also needs to have a portfolio page with thumbnails leading to more information on the image/project. Any suggestions on a StudioPress theme that already has this? Or a portfolio function that can easily be added to any theme?

    It's pretty easy to add a portfolio to any of the child themes..

    Tutorial

    Don't know about the slider. Haven't seen a slider in a child theme for a while.

    Jonathan Atkinson provides a decent plugin here as well. (He's the author of the Church Genesis theme.) It's only one of available plugins for portfolios.

    As for StudioPress themes, Executive has a slider and portfolio built in.

    Thanks for your comments! I may use Executive as I have used this before but without a portfolio. Just need to figure out how to get the full width slider or perhaps use Backstretch? I am aiming for something like this on the home page

    It's done for Sample, but could be tweaked for other themes. Sridhar has some more tuts on full-width sliders, too.
