    Hi, I've been working with Paypal, trying to resolve why my custom Add To Cart button wasn't working and/or added a bunch of space between the text/object that is above/below it. PayPal customer service pointed out that the code that I see in the theme's text editor isn't what is visible when I view the code right from the page.

    Here's the code in my text editor:
    <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post" target="paypal"><input name="cmd" type="hidden" value="_s-xclick" />
    <input name="hosted_button_id" type="hidden" value="3NTMLZ4599X7Q" />
    <input alt="PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online!" name="submit" src="http://laurazera.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Add-to-Cart-button-small.jpg" type="image" />
    </form>

    The code via 'Inspect Element' on my page shows a bunch of <br> tags that aren't visible in the text editor.

    Any ideas as to why this might be?

    And just in case someone suggests that I just remove the spaces using the Visual editor, I've tried that, and when I do that, it actually changes the code and removes lines of the code, so the button doesn't work as a shopping cart and instead only goes to Paypal's home page.

    Hi,

    remove all the line breaks from your code and they won't be added on the front end.

    <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post" target="paypal"><input name="cmd" type="hidden" value="_s-xclick" /><input name="hosted_button_id" type="hidden" value="3NTMLZ4599X7Q" /><input alt="PayPal – The safer, easier way to pay online!" name="submit" src="http://laurazera.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Add-to-Cart-button-small.jpg" type="image" /></form>
