    Hey 🙂

    Can anybody explain to me how I can add a custom background image on Magazine Pro?
    I assume it would require both a code snippet for the functions.php file and some CSS, right?

    I'm building my site offline, so unfortunately I can't provide a link.

    Thanks in advance!

    Just stumbled upon this code snippet:

    // Add support for custom background
    add_theme_support( 'custom-background' );

    I added this to the functions.php and it solved all my problems! 🙂

    Thank you for sharing this. I just made that change on my site as I was wondering how to do this as well.

    @ Stine G What are the dimensions of the image for optimal fit?

    I guess it depends on your background image and whether you want it to be repeated or just shown once. I used a black image with some color in the middle with the size 1920 x 1200 with no-repeat on black background color.
